The Heart Of God
Why is Christanity so divided? What does God really want us to know about who He is? His Word is perfect, we are not. We have morphed and twisted His perfect message into self-justifications based our ideas of who He is. We can’t limit an infinitely Sovereign God who has clearly communicated His purpose, priorities, and plans for us. He is bigger than we can express. He is larger than we can explain. So we move beyond our divisions, to His Prayer. He prayed we "...would be one..." Jesus prayed we would know, The Heart Of God.

There's certainly nothing new under the sun and nothing new in the Word. But hopefully as we grow, we find a broader and more usable understanding of our times and how the Word of God is always relevant to our here and now. Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah understood the value of the coming New Testament. (Covenant) I have grown to love the Major and Minor Prophets more deeply in the latter years of my life. Why, late in his ministry, did Paul begin using the D-Word with Timothy and explaining why it was so important? There was a common theme and explanation in Paul's last letter, to his son in the faith. It's incredible that what Paul told Timothy is possibly even more critical during our time.
