The Heart Of God

Why is Christanity so divided? What does God really want us to know about who He is? His Word is perfect, we are not. We have morphed and twisted His perfect message into self-justifications based our ideas of who He is. We can’t limit an infinitely Sovereign God who has clearly communicated His purpose, priorities, and plans for us. He is bigger than we can express. He is larger than we can explain. So we move beyond our divisions, to His Prayer. He prayed we "...would be one..." Jesus prayed we would know, The Heart Of God.

Welcome to Episode 99 of The Heart of God podcast: Diving Down the Dead Sea Scroll Hole! Have you ever wondered how we got the Old Testament? How do we truly know that the Bible we read today accurately reflects what God originally inspired? And what if there was extraordinary evidence—hidden for over 2,000 years—that miraculously verifies the faithful transmission of the Hebrew Scriptures from ancient Jewish scribes to Christians worldwide? In this in-depth episode, we explore the fascinating story of the Dead Sea Scrolls, one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. We'll uncover how God preserved His Word through centuries of careful copying, and how the Dead Sea Scrolls astonishingly confirm the reliability of our modern Old Testament with remarkable accuracy. More than that, we'll see the profound connections between the Old and New Testaments, revealing God's miraculous plan unfolding across history. If you're searching for answers on Bible reliability, the authenticity of Scripture, or how the Old Testament points to Jesus, this episode will strengthen your faith and deepen your understanding of God's heart. Episode 94: Can You Lose Your Salvation? Part 3 – The Truth Behind “I Never Knew You” & Revelation 22:18-19 | The Heart of God PodcastCan a real Christian lose their salvation? Few questions haunt believers more than this one, and two passages in particular have caused sleepless nights for generations:
Matthew 7:21–23 – Jesus’ terrifying words: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven… Depart from me, I never knew you.”→ Who was Jesus actually talking to? Was He warning genuine believers they could fall away… or exposing something far more sobering? (The shocking answer is hidden in plain sight—just look at the verses right before verse 23.)
Revelation 22:18–19 – God’s final warning: “If anyone takes away from the words of this book… God will take away his share in the tree of life.”→ Is this the ultimate proof you can lose your salvation? Or is this one of the most misused verses in the entire debate?
In Part 3 of our viral series on eternal security and the perseverance of the saints, we go word-for-word through both passages—no proof-texting, no fear tactics—just clear, contextual, Greek-informed teaching that finally settles the question: Once you’re truly saved, are you always saved? If you’ve ever Googled:
“Can you lose your salvation, Matthew 7”
“I never knew you meaning.”
“Revelation 22:19 lose salvation.”
“Once saved, always saved Bible verses.
“Eternal security explained”
“Assurance of salvation Scriptures”

The Heart of God Podcast – Episode 91: Psyched Out By The Scythians? In Colossians 3:11, Paul declares that in Christ there is no Gentile or Jew, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free — but Christ is all and is in all. To the ancient world, the Scythians were the most terrifying people on earth: nomadic horsemen who scalped enemies, drank from their skulls, and lived in a haze of violence and hemp-fueled rituals. They were the ultimate outsiders, the barbarians’ barbarians. Yet Paul names them specifically to show that if the gospel can reach a Scythian warrior, it can reach anyone. This episode explores who the Scythians really were, why Paul singled them out, and what their inclusion teaches us about God’s power to heal the deepest racial, cultural, and ideological divides in our world today. If you’ve ever wondered whether certain people are beyond the reach of grace, this message is for you. Press play — Christ is all, and is in all.Key topics: Scythians in the Bible, Colossians 3:11, gospel unity, racial reconciliation, Paul and barbarians, Christ in all
